We were supposed to have a follow up appointment with the Radiation Oncologist today to talk to Emily about how she is getting on since the radiation treatment she had to her jaw in March. She refused to attend the appointment saying “ What is the point in driving all the way there and all the way back (40 minutes each way) to tell them I am feeling absolutely fine?”.. Good point Emily. So I phoned and politely cancelled. Em knows her body better than anyone else and I instinctively know if she needs to be checked out. Emily isn’t going to let cancer get in the way of her life. Too many fun times to be had instead thank you very much! I do worry blogging about how well she is feeling at the moment incase I jinx it and she goes downhill soon.
Thank you to all the people offering her such awesome experiences. Cancer aside, she is a very lucky little girl.

She put me right about your tooth. Sorry it must have been the photo….she told me you still have it….silly me.
Have a fun time at the antartic centre this weekend, Ive not been myself yet, but have been told the penguins are real cute.
Getting cold now isnt it especially in the mornings, hard to get out of bed,but you would be rushing for school I guess.

Emily, what beautiful pictures! You are looking so happy and vibrant!
Am not sure you remember, but Cameron was in Room 14 with you at Rolleston School in 2011. He says you look so happy and misses you now he is in Auckland.

Love these pics Emily. You have lost a front tooth!! Hope tooth fairy was kind, not sure what her rate would be these days.

Hey guys, we all new Em was very clever and ahead of her time, shes like a adult and this just proves it all, i wonder if most grown ups would handle these things as well as Em does!!

Talked to Em at school yesterday Kath and i know you already would know it but she has the BEST manners! Was asking her how she was and talking about the fun clip and climb pics but she was far to busy thanking me for the bits i dropped in the other day!! Gotta love her :) thinking of you guys always..
