Hi everyone,
Emily is getting more and more tired as the days go by. She is dozing intermittently throughout the day in our bed watching/listening to DVD’s. She walks from the bedroom to the couch and that’s about it. No complaints of pain which is still well managed. Emily is not interested in playing with her toys, reading, seeing friends, or drawing anymore. She’s quite content just being around family, and that is how it will be from now on. We have no idea how long this will go on for Emily. Hopefully it’s not too drawn out for her…

Just to send you our love and thoughts. Jaime often comes up with something regarding Em now, and we talk about her. She is really sad she cant see her anymore, but understands , she just wishes it were otherwise as we all do!

Just arrived back from seeing Natasha, who is superfit I might add , couldnt keep up with her on our walks!!!
She sends her love to Emily as to you Katherine, is very sad about what you are going through as we are.
Lost for words today…..hardly fair that a vibrant young person has to weather this kind of storm. Someone with her talents too. Hope you can manage some drawings for Mum and Dad Emily they are very precious.

Enjoy yr time with yr family, will be so important 2 u all. Cancer is such a horrible disease but the fact emily is pain free is fantastic. I send so much love 2 u all but it does not seem nearly enough!!! Lisa xxx

Hope you’re enjoying the rainy Labour Day in your loving home and that there is lots and lots of yummy family time on carpets, in the hallways, at the dining table, with Emily at her bed.
