Day 167 – Wednesday 23 June, 2010
Emily is doing well. She has been in hospital this afternoon for a platelets transfusion. Emily has asked us to tell everyone that she doesn’t want any more presents, as she wants to enjoy her birthday (in September)….. we think that’s fair enough. Kath has said, that whilst she has been appreciative of the gifts, she has been inundated with material things and is craving normality.
We will be updating the blog less frequently, but will be sure to keep everyone informed of subsequent treatments and any news.

It was so lovely seeing you both yesterday..I got to see Charlotte when I picked up my godson too!
Kath I still can’t believe how fantastic you look, I can’t believe you are delivering a baby tomorrow.
Emily you are a star, I still can’t believe how brave you are, yesterday you blew me away with that bravery. When you received the phone call from the hospital to head into get your platelets done, there was no fuss/complaints from you…you are one beautiful patient angel…I know I couldn’t be as brave as you!

Hi Em
Wendy here, I saw Helen from your old kindy today and she said to give you a big hug. It was quite funny seeing her at school instead of at kindy. Jaime wasn’t with me, but I know she would have liked to have seen Helen too. Jaime wants to come and see you, as soon as you are up to having ” noisy” visitors. Jaime is very noisy at the moment- I think she has been feeding herself birdseed every day and she is as mad and as busy as a little sparrow!! :-)
