Day 154 – Thursday 10 June, 2010
Today has been a quiet day in hospital for Emily and Kath. Em has been feeling miserable from the mucositis and is now on continuous morphine to combat the pain she has been experiencing. She has also started on an antibiotic as she spiked a temperature this evening.
Emily said she is feeling settled tonight.

You are being so brave Emily. Hope you start to feel better real soon. Poppy had an operation today and has some stitches in her tummy. She is being brave just like you.
Not long until the new bundle of joy is here. All the best Kath.

Dear Emily and katherine…..
So very much in our thoughts.
Gosh Emily those bags of stuff look frightening to me.
You are so very brave……but WE ALL KNOW THAT dont we.
Each day brings a new promise of HOPE.
Each day we HOPE you are getting a little stronger Emily.
Tomorrow brings new HOPE to us all.

You must be getting excited that you will be able to cuddle the new baby soon. I bet the baby is looking forward to meeting their brave big sister :)
