Day 125 – Wednesday 12 May, 2010
Emily is starting ‘high dose chemotherapy’ on Thursday 27th May. They will be administering the chemo over the course of approximately a week and then the stem cells will be infused. The stem cells will then have to graft into her bone marrow which takes approximately 3 weeks. Emily should recover from these procedures by the end of June.
She will be having tests next week on her heart, chest, kidneys etc in preparation.
We will not be updating the blog over the next few weeks, until this next round of treatment starts. Kath and Gary will be giving Emily the best 2 weeks possible with lots of ‘normality and fun times’.

I cant wait to come and stay for a sleepover next weekend. I wish it was sooner, but I know you really wnat to go on what now, so thats ok. Lala and I will be watching you on TV on Sunday! Cant wait to see you -9 sleeps! :-)

Hi Emily
Well sounds like you will be having some fun, maybe we will see you at school?
I was so surprised and thrilled to see you at the supermarket with mum. Mum’s baby is getting so big, do you get to feel baby kick, do you think its a boy or girl?
We downloaded Ragdoll Blaster 2 on to the ipod touch, Mathew & Thomas can not stop playing, I had to put them on 5 min timer, to make sure they took turns:)
We check your blog every couple of days, great to see so many pictures of a smiley you, you look beautiful!
Have fun little one and enjoy sleeping in your own bed:)
