Emily's Journey

Emily's journey started on Friday 8 January, 2010 where it was discovered that after some time of being unwell, her body has actually been fighting cancer. This site is dedicated to those who want to encourage her through this journey.

Day 91 – Thursday 8 April, 2010

Gary is working away quietly in the background threading tiny beads onto a  bracelet.  He is a man of many talents!  I should also mention that he managed to burn the popcorn so terribly that it stank out the entire CHOC ward as well as the children’s ward next door!  It was so burnt it almost caught fire!

Emily ~ We loved to see your smily face when we opened your website this morning!
We have had many problems with popcorn as well :0) And I actually managed to blow up a bag in the microwave ! The smell hung around for days, people still make jokes about it.
Hoping your well enough to get home and enjoy this lovely sun soon.
Much love to you and your family.

P.S Daniel loves your wig and smily plaster!

Hi Em,

Your Dad is a champion. Soccer legend and necklace maker, very cool!

Hoping I can pop in and say hi to you and your Mum next week. Looking forward to seeing you both.

I will try and bottle some of the Brisbane Sunshine to bring over for you.

Love Tasha

YAY EMILY….you may go home…thats fantastic news.

Dad looks hard at work there with the beads in the background of your latest photo.

Jack and Charlotte will be so happy and I know you will be extra happy to get back home to your room and all your things that are special to you.

Go Gary! Sophia has broken a necklace but I have all the beads still…. if you feel like threading some more you can pop round!

Emily, that face of yours is full of cheekiness, and so beautiful! You are shining my friend!

Love you all
