Beads of Courage – 145
Today Emily had a platelet transfusion, chemo and then a blood transfusion before heading back home.
She has been in bed all day feeling grotty. Kath said that this is typical of the day following chemo.

Hiya Miss Emily!
Sophs sends all her love, she has made a picture (on canvas) for you (im SO proud!!), and her and Milan made some lovely cards for you too. Apparently the picture isnt quite finished yet, so when it is i will pop it in the letterbox for you. I have a cold and arent quite over it so wont come to visit, but another day I will for sure! I have missed seeing you all SO much, and am looking forward to giving you big hugs.

Oops…forgot to mention the beads. Thats a lot Emily…it tells us how brave you have been.
We think we couldnt be as brave as you are Emily….you are teaching us just what it the word means!!!!!.

We are sorry you are feeling bad at the moment Emily.
Mum says you have felt like this b4 so tomorrow it will be better…we wish HEAPS BETTER for you Emily.
The sun will shine today so maybe you might like to try and go outside for some of that sun and fresh air….it will help you feel a bit stronger Emily.
