Emily's journey started on Friday 8 January, 2010 where it was discovered that after some time of being unwell, her body has actually been fighting cancer. This site is dedicated to those who want to encourage her through this journey.

Hi Emily, how lovely that you have been able to sleep in your own bed. We all think that the scarf you are wearing is wonderfull, it is so colourful. I wonder what others you might be able to wear. Lots of love Helen, Zdenka and Irene.

Nice to see you at home sweet pea, I bet it was WONDERFUL to sleep in your own bed! I love your head scarf – such pretty colours!!. We have been told by a lady at Milan’s preschool (she is having chemo to at the moment)of a neat shop to get special childrens scarves from. They have Barbie, Bratz, Miley Cyrus ones etc. Would you like me to get one for you?

So pleased your home, mel is at home aswell she’s loving it.
We have’nt got around to getting Mel a cell phone yet but it will be in the next few days “I promise”,
Mel goes in for chemo on thursday or friday and we are in there until momday or tuesday so i guess we will see you there.
Emily I hope you feel better soon so aunty and Jenny can take us to a big persons restaurant and a to a show. You didn’t get to the Margaret Mahy concert with us but that’s ok as aunty spoke to her and she says you can take our family for a visit to her home sometime WOW
It was great to spend some time with you at your house yesterday thank you for watching Ice Age Three with me :)
