Emily's Journey

Emily's journey started on Friday 8 January, 2010 where it was discovered that after some time of being unwell, her body has actually been fighting cancer. This site is dedicated to those who want to encourage her through this journey.

Emily now has 69 Beads of Courage.

Kath and Gary have been looking forward to seeing her personality return for weeks now and at times today glimpses shone through!  Her mood however is changing quickly and dramatically.  Emily spent some time in the playroom today and has completed 2 of her worksheets.

If you want to help out with meals or baking please contact Michelle as she is co-ordinating this.  [email protected] or (03) 3228992

Hello Kath and family – We live just down the road from you in Rolleston, have some mutual friends, and often say hi at school. We were so sad to hear the news of Emily’s illness, and wanted to send you a message to say we are thinking of you all and sending lots of positive thoughts and best wishes for Emily. I know Steve and Felicity will be a wonderful support to you, they are awesome people! The photo posted today is beautiful – what a brave and inspiring young lady.

If you are feeling ok, and you r Mum says its ok , we may call in and see you again on Friday. We bought a little something today to make you look pretty- I know you will like it cos I do! I really liked seeing your face in all the photos.

Hi Kath, Steve, Sherilyn and Tom and of course you Emily,

Emily we used to be your Nana and Granddad’s neighbours. Those two are very special you know. Get Nana to give you a special smile from us.

Kath and Steve what can we say except that we are thinking of your whole family and we are in Rolleston too, so just ask if there is anything we can do.
