Emily's Journey

Emily's journey started on Friday 8 January, 2010 where it was discovered that after some time of being unwell, her body has actually been fighting cancer. This site is dedicated to those who want to encourage her through this journey.

Day 311 – Sunday 14 November, 2010

“Mum, Mum, I have enough hair for  a hair clip!”

Emily’s hair is growing heaps.  She is feeling awesome at the moment and has put on one and a half kilograms since her last round of treatment.  She has been to school as much as she can and has loved every minute of it.

Yesterday, Emily went on a 4-seater plane trip over Christchurch courtesy of the wonderful staff at the Canterbury Aero Club.

Round 3 of Antibody Therapy starts tomorrow.

Hey Em great to see you back to your old self today and thanks to you and Jaymee for helping with Willys card too !!! It was also lovely of you to give Jaymee one of your toys and telling him you have plenty makes me so proud of you lovey.
I just loved it when you said to me “aunty when I finish my treatment the first thing I’m going to do with you is Hip Hop” so I am now looking for Hip Hop classes for the over fifties, to learn more about it okay and you just watch me take you up on your offer.

Em I just love you to bits x x x

Emily, that is the most exciting news we’ve heard in a long time. :) Fantastic to hear you’ve put on weight and had time at school. Keep up that fighting spirit. Thinking of you often. Love Paula and Peter xxxxx
