Emily's Journey

Emily's journey started on Friday 8 January, 2010 where it was discovered that after some time of being unwell, her body has actually been fighting cancer. This site is dedicated to those who want to encourage her through this journey.

Day 73 – Sunday 21 March, 2010

This is a picture taken a few days ago of Emily and her cousin Keanan.

Emily has had an awesome day today and enjoyed a visit from Sadie.

While chemo is every 10 days things have been fairly routine.  Whilst we have become somewhat used to the routine, we are psyching up for the next phase of treatment.   The next phase will be dependent on the results after round 8 of chemo (the next round).  We are keeping the blog updated with as much information as possible, so you can feel confident that if you are reading this then you are as up to date as we are!

Dear Emily

Today at Pippins I made a chicken, it has a string that you dampen your fingers then slide them down the string making a cluck cluck sound. We put on a show for the adults.

Yesterday Granddad ,Dad, Brooke and I walked the city surf. We walked the whole 12km’s. We all enjoyed the entertainment at the end!!!
Abbey’s leg’s were a little shorter at end than at the start.

Was that your Uncle Steve who won a prize at the prize giving??

Next year you could join me.

Love
