Day 52 – Sunday 28 February, 2010

Emily has had a reasonable few days at home with a couple of outings. On Saturday the family went to the Rolleston School Fair for half an hour. They also took a trip to The Warehouse today to buy some storage containers for all the wonderful gifts she has received. Jack and Charlotte have been sick but amazingly, touch wood, Emily hasn’t caught anything.
Emily has no appetite and is struggling with her naso-gastric feeds in terms of tolerating the volume. She has also been vomiting more than usual after her last round of chemo but hasn’t been complaining about it. She is very tired but happy in herself.

Hi Emily
We heard you were at the Rolleston school fair on Saturday, well done!
Mathew made a vegetable animal for judging and got first prize for his giraffe, it was really tall, he was very happy:)
Thomas made an Octopus with a red pepper and 8 chilli’s, he put it on display just for fun. He won third prize…..which was a big surprise because he does not go to Rolleston School yet??

I hope you are feeling a bit better. When you get better you, Charlotte, Jack, uncle Woody and Aunty Kath can come over for a swim in our new pool.
Did you buy anything at the fair? Mum isn’t feeling too good so we haven’t been over to visit.

It was great to see you both at the School fair on Saturday. I hope you had a good time Emily. I told Aimee that you would love to meet our new puppy. So we are going to come and visit you really soon. Our puppys name is Poppy and she has already had a visit to room 7. Sadie even had a pat and told me she was beautiful.
